The Forest Family spoke and the Wish Machine heard! Announcing the brand new Camp Gear Donation program.
Many of the Forest Family wished for a sustainable and community-minded program in which lightly used camping gear could be donated after the festival. The Wish Machine is proud to announce the launch of the new Camping Gear Donation program at Electric Forest 2024!
At the end of your time at Electric Forest 2024, bring lightly used camp gear - including tents, sleeping bags, coolers, and more - to a Camp Gear Donation Location where the Electricology team will collect for donation. All acceptable gear will be donated back into the local community through youth nature programs, Camp Newaygo and Parks in Focus by TrueNorth Community Services, and to folks experiencing houselessness through the Community Action House. Donation Locations can be found at each Shower Pod and the exits of the GA Campgrounds, and at the exit of Good Life camping.
Local Wish Granted!
In the wake of a recent home fire in Rothbury, MI, the local community wished for smoke detectors to be distributed to residents free of cost. HQ is happy to support this initiative, providing the funds required to the Grant Township Fire Department to purchase and supply 100 brand-new smoke detectors to homes in Rothbury and Oceana County.
Residents who are interested in receiving a smoke detector should reach out to the Grant Township Fire Department directly for more information!
✨ Wish Fulfilled! ✨ The Wish Machine has granted another Wish for 2024!
Detroit-born, LA-based DJ and producer Kittamami wished to perform at Electric Forest 2024. In return, Kittamami is organizing a performance and fundraiser to benefit Boredom Fighters, a non-profit that empowers underserved youth to express themselves and find purpose in their communities through music and event production.
HQ is dreaming up a very special, high-flying, performance experience for Kittamami - stay tuned for details! 🎈
The Wish Machine has granted the first Wish for 2024!
Chelsea and David are longtime Forest Family and special education teachers who have attended Electric Forest together since 2016. Chelsea wished for HQ to help them throw the wedding of their Forest dreams - a fishing-themed rave at The Chapel - in exchange for their group committing to each donate at least 10 meals to Conscious Alliance. Together, Chelsea and David’s crew are coming together to provide approximately 1,000 donated meals to the community in need. Plus, in Chelsea and David’s honor, Conscious Alliance has pledged to match their crew’s donation providing additional 1,000 pounds of food directly to the local Rothbury community!
HQ is excited to celebrate this deserving couple at Electric Forest 2024!
Wish Granted!
Attending Electric Forest for the first time, Izzy wished for a special brunch from HQ at their camp. Izzy, a cast member at Disney, is volunteering 40 hours with Give Kids the World, an amusement park in Central Florida that provides week-long, cost-free vacations for critically ill children and their families from around the world. This is an important cause to Izzy, and HQ is happy to highlight this work and provide a fun pop-up brunch for Izzy and friends!

ABOUT THE WISH MACHINE
The Wish Machine invites the Forest Family to commit to spreading positivity through inspirational and charitable deeds in their community in exchange for a wish granted by Electric Forest.
This call for Forest dreams has generated over 7,500 inspiring commitments through the years. These have resulted in many real-world, positive impacts including donations to humanitarian efforts in Ukraine, an arts and crafts event for an Illinois Veterans home, the beautification of local walking trails, the creation of a mental health support group, and much more.
In exchange, the Wish Machine has granted everything from Wristbands to facilitating a Mario Kart tournament for charity in the campgrounds, private performances from Forest favorites and headliners, and even an Electric Forest performance slot - that helped launch a career in music!
